Why did they make the Cheesy Metal Hall of Fame? Well, Call of the Wintermoon ALONE gets Immortal in the Hall of Fame. A video that shows what happens when you have perhaps played a little too many sessions of Dungeons 'n' Dragons.

Immortal has this problem with when they are trying to be "bad ass," they look pretty fucking ridiculous, as you can see from the photo at the top there.

So, so far we have bad videos and bad press images. Well, what else is there? First, you can take a look at some of their awful album covers, such as this one:

What I will give them is that outside of the act, they do come off competent in interviews, so score one for Immortal and their official site's biography is actually rational.

Despite all of the cheese, the other thing that Immortal has going for them is that, if you like Black Metal, these guys are one the best at what they do, and that is pure relentless metal!
